A few kilometres from Genoa, Italy, divers and scientists from the Nemo s Garden project are rising to a challenge which might well have been dreamed up by the captain of the mythical Nautilus himself: cultivating plants and vegetables in underwater biospheres.

A solution which could lead to the development of agriculture in regions of the world where the terrestrial environment is far less favourable.

An interview with Gianni Fontanesi, coordinator of this alternative, sustainable agricultural project, and a passionate scuba diver.
