A manifesto for new resources: another world is possible

14 experts from all backgrounds such as Jean-Louis Chaussade, Chief Executive Officer of SUEZ, but also the economist Nicolas Bouzou and Monica Richter, Director of WWF Australia s low carbon programme, think together on how humanity can continue to grow and create wealth while consuming fewer resources. Starting from Lavoisier s quote nothing is lost, everything is transformed and based on examples from Senegal, Chile or India, this collective of committed people shows that it is possible and above all necessary to switch from a linear to a circular economy. This publication is a reflection of the 21 journeys to the countries of the new resource by French writer Erik Orsenna, who travelled around Europe to discover concrete solutions to make the circular economy a reality.
