Urinary S/O Canine effectively dissolves struvite uroliths. An acidic urinary pH is unfavourable to the development of bacteria, which are frequently associated with struvite uroliths.

A reduced calorie content helps limit weight gain.

Diluting urine decreases the urinary concentration of struvites and calcium oxalates. The larger urinary volume also ensures regular bladder wash-out.

Undersaturated urine is an environment where crystals cannot proliferate. Thus the urine is unfavourable to the development of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.

Chicken meat, pork meat, chicken liver, wheat flour, corn gluten, sunflower oil, cellulose, fish oil, minerals, taurine, acidifying substances (calcium sulphate, DL-methionine), trace elements (including chelated trace elements), marigold meal (rich in lutein), vitamins.

High moisture diets promote urine and calorie dilution. In addition, urine volumes are greater and risk of urolith formation reduced with increased frequency of urination. Increased bladder water turn-over reduces the time available for solutes to form crystals or stones.
