How do people respond to change? In a word, differently.

Our brains have evolved to make us cautious of change. As soon as we encounter anything new or unexpected, our brains automatically assess whether it presents a threat to our survival and well-being or a potential reward. This happens at an unconscious level. Resistance to change isn t necessarily a conscious act; it s often a deeply rooted, evolutionary, survival instinct.
