1) WhAT iS ThE TyPE OF PROgRAm OF ThE FiRST.RS ? The FiRST.RS is a versatile competition paddle, which means that it was designed to deliver its highest effi ciency for a dynamic stroke. You can use in the following programs : Sprint and long distance races / Surfski / Fitness / Sea kayak.

2) cAn i uSE ThE FiRST.RS in A WhiTE WATER PRAcTiSE ? No, competition paddles are products designed in highly technical materials such as carbon and fi berglass. We do not recommend the use of the FiRST.RS in such practices.

3) ARE ThERE SEvERAL bLADE SiZES AvAiLAbLE FOR ThE FiRST.RS ? yes, the FiRST.RS is available in three sizes : Small for very short builds. Medium for short builds. Large for standard builds.

4) WhAT mATERiALS ARE ThE bLADES OF ThE FiRST.RS mADE OF ? The blades of the FiRST.RS are made in Fiberglass + carbon prepreg.

5) WhAT iS ThE STAnDARD FEAThER OF ThE FiRST.RS ? We recommend, for the FiRST.RS, a right or left angle between 55° and 60°, according to your preferences. This range of angles is Standard for competition paddles. However, you can order your paddle with a custom feather, with no extra charge. The feather is the angle of degree the paddle blades are off-set to each other.

6) iS ThE FiRST.RS DELivERED WiTh A PADDLE gRiP AnD DRiP RingS ? yes and no ! The standard FiRST.RS does not come with a paddle grip and drip rings. but you can order them as accessories. We do not recommend to add a paddle grip to the competition paddles, as they will interfere with the stroke.

7) WhAT ARE ThE hAnDLES AvAiLAbLE FOR ThE FiRST.RS ? The FiRST.RS is available only with the soft carbon shaft.

8) WhAT ARE ThE ADvAnTAgES OF ThE DiFFEREnT ADJuSTing SySTEmS AvAiLAbLE On ThE FiRST.RS ? you can choose among several options for your FiRST.RS : Fixed or Mono : This option means that you have no displaceable adjusting system on your FIRST.RS. The length and the feather are fi xed. Vario System S-Lock 2 : The Vario S-Lock 2 can be adjusted over 10 cm with an infi nite choice of feathers . It also enables you to adjust your paddle with more precision. This option is recommended for all the paddle-users who want to customize their FIRST.RS as much as possible.
