CMA CGM 2025 CSR Report
The CMA CGM Group was global
partner of UNOC 2025 in Nice
dedicated to the preservation
of the oceans .
> Protecting biodiversity
Operating across all oceans and
continents , the CMA CGM Group
has long been committed to preserving
biodiversity , limiting the impact of its
activities , contributing to the protection
of fragile ecosystems and endangered
species , and actively supporting research
and innovation .
The Group decided to focus on local initiatives to protect
and conserve endemic and iconic species .
The Group maintains the rerouting
of its vessels to avoid certain whale
migration and breeding areas , notably
the Hellenic Trench ( Greece and Crete )
and the Northern Route .
CMA CGM continues its support
to the Woods Hole Oceanographic
Institution and its acoustic buoys ,
which alert ships about the movement
of North Atlantic Right Whales around
high - traff ic ports in the United States .
CMA CGM and La Méridionale
have once again been certif ied
Green Marine Europe recognizing
efforts toward decarbonization
and environmental stewardship
