It’s important not to rush; pausing after each point will help your audience follow your progress and help you to feel more
relaxed and composed. Always have a glass of water to hand; that way, if you lose your place or feel flustered, you can take a few
seconds to sip from the glass and compose yourself. Or just take a deep breath.
Have visual aids, notes, and other prompts to help you keep to the structure and feel less exposed. This is easier when
you’re presenting virtually as you’re less visible: you can have sticky notes and other prompts around your screen. It’s
also a great idea to have a second screen displaying your speaker notes.
