RECEIVING THE DIVIDEND
The dividend represents the share s annual income. This is the part of the profit which is distributed to the shareholders. Its amount depends on the
company s profits and is decided upon by LVMH s Annual Shareholders
Meeting, following the recommendation of its Board of Directors.
An LVMH shareholder who invested 1,000 on January 1, 2016 would have a
capital of 3,733 on December 31, 2020, based on reinvested dividends. This
represents a 273% gain, translating to a compound annual growth rate of
around 30.1% over five years.
