Marie-Laure, can you describe your daily work to us? How is the client currently the central role-player in the job you do? Marie-Laure: My role is primarily to be closer to the resi- dents. Beyond daily management of the residence, my role is to create a true link of proximity and conviviality with all our clients: students, parents, or young workers, whether they re from another city or another country. My role is to reassure and assist them in their first real estate experience and/or in their first taste of living in France!

What advantages does the innovation approach offer clients? Marie-Laure: Our tenants feel at home , and are kept bet- ter informed about everything that is happening in their residence. The digital room allows us to live broadcast all kinds of in- formation (upcoming events, weather, news, etc.) and even have the opportunity to offer encouragement to our ten- ants during exams or wish them a Happy Birthday! The mobile app is a true internal social network. The idea is to give our clients the opportunity to express their needs, sign up for activities, or respond to surveys on our events, for example. To sum it all up, we are looking to reinforce a sense of prox- imity with our tenants.

Vanessa, give us feedback on our events schedule Vanessa: Our events schedule is planned around common social spaces (chill room with television, foosball, table games and communal kitchens with the loan of equip- ment). We have prepared a schedule of different themed evenings called Mood Parties (Cheese Nights, Pizza/Pyjama eve- nings, Childhood Memories evenings, Candlemas) that are held once a month. Other events are held with professionals in order to educate our tenants on various subjects (self-defence classes, first aid steps, DIY workshops). Finally, our network of Apsytude psychologists helps our tenants to better manage the challenges they face.

What role does the tenant ambassador play? What do you expect from them? Vanessa: The role of the tenant ambassador is to champi- on the innovation approach adopted for our tenants. They form the link between tenants and myself to ensure I can better meet their needs. Marie-Laure: I really like the idea of co-creating events with my tenants such as arranging Mood Parties, décor, costumes, and other aspects. This allows them to use their skills and encourage those who are more reserved. My res- idence has become a real place of exchange and sharing!
