What are your future development projects? We are acting in a buoyant and evolving market. In fact, we know that, in the years to come, the combination of rising stu- dent numbers, more people choosing to live on their own and increased student mobility, will generate an even greater need for student housing. Our ambition is to continue our dynamic housing offer and, as such, we re planning to open more than 40 student residences over the next ten years.
Interview
Pascal Pedoux, Chief Executive Officer Nexity Studéa
How has Nexity Studéa maintained its position as the leading operator in student housing? First, by maintaining the strength of its network in a sustainable way. We operate on a French national scale in more than 50 cities and 122 strategi- cally-located residences, close to major student hubs and public transportation. We make it a point of honour to preserve this historic collection of properties in a sustainable way, while also adapting it to new uses.
Also, within our residences, we continuously improve our product and our offer to remain aligned with changes in the lifestyles and expectations of the students of today and tomorrow. And with all this, in the background we hold a strong conviction that we must play a more important role than that of a mere host.
