How team leaders create psychologically safe working environments Team leaders play an important role in creating an inclusive environment where people feel safe and comfortable enough to speak up, to share concerns, and to share their mistakes.

In such environments leaders deliberately encourage people to experiment and learn quickly from mistakes, enabling people to grow, develop, and perform at their best.

This provides the opportunity for everyone to learn together and, when we do this, we can improve together as individuals, teams and as an organization.
