High Wycombe is a remarkably well-connected town, with excellent transport links available by road, rail and air. The town sits alongside the M40 Motorway, a short distance northwest of London. Making the capital easily accessible as well as the M25 Motorway that leads to many other parts of the South East.
Rail links to London are fantastic, with services to Marylebone station taking around 30 minutes from High Wycombe and for the first time in 100 years the town now has direct rail connections to Oxford and Birmingham, with the journey taking approximately an hour.
Heathrow, the UK's largest airport, is just 22 minutes by car, making it incredibly easy for High Wycombe residents to fly overseas for business or leisure purposes.
The town itself is served by buses from the central bus station to nearby locations including Maidenhead, Heathrow Airport and Reading.
Transport Connectivity
Bucks New University s High Wycombe campus is home to just under 10,000 university students, located just a short walk away from Birch House. Over the past ten years £100 million has been invested into the university facilities. The recently built flagship building known as The Gateway, is a state-of-the-art complex that hosts media production studios, a library and gym all under one roof.
Buckinghamshire itself is one of the leading local authorities in the UK for school results, with pupils achieving higher than average results. The most sought-after schools in High Wycombe include Royal Grammar School (Boys), Wycombe High School (Girls) and John Hampden Grammar School.
