Seeking and using feedback
In your current position you may have already had opportunities to receive feedback. Your manager is an important source of feedback, but anyone who knows you and has experienced working with you may also be able to give you some valuable advice colleagues, friends, coaches, mentors, customers, etc.
What insights can these people offer you about:
Your approach to your work? Careers that might interest you? Your strengths? Your opportunities for improvement?
Decide what kind of feedback you think will be most valuable for you now, and in the future. Great feedback can help you to set personal goals, and to close the gaps between where you are now and where you want to be.
