Topic 2 Internal Support Networks People make the single biggest difference when welcoming young people into the workplace. Aim to set up a network and an infrastructure right from the start that promotes wellbeing, offers support, and connects people. You can do this in a variety of ways.

Mental health first aiders

Volunteers can be trained externally to spot the early signs of people struggling with their mental health. They can then confidently listen to concerns, signpost appropriate resources, and deal with a mental health emergency if required.
