Employee forums Bringing together voices from diverse backgrounds across the organisation, forums give young people a platform and an opportunity to contribute. They are a great way to hear about the views and opinions of colleagues, and whether people feel included, helping to shape important future decisions.

Peer communities If you have a cohort of people starting at the same time, try and connect them beforehand so they have people they can lean on who are in the same position.

Colleague networks Creating networks for specific social groups and issues - such as disability, gender equality, parents and carers, or LGTBQ+ - can be a great way to provide a safe space to celebrate and educate. If you already have these, make sure new colleagues know how they can join, learn, support, and champion diversity. This creates a sense of belonging and makes people feel welcome and accepted.
