Before your new employee arrives Your onboarding responsibilities begin before an employee s first day at Amgen. During this period, you not only develop an onboarding plan for the employee, you also take several steps to establish a personal connection and begin building a positive relationship. Your goal is to make the new employee feel welcomed and excited about joining Amgen and your team.
