Career Development at Amgen: Career Development at Amgen is a shared responsibility between Staff and Managers. Meaningful learning and development drives Amgen s excellence at every level, across all functions, regions, and business units. The Learning for Growth program has been designed to support the development of Career Development skills. Located on Amgen s Learning Hub, you will find topics that support skill development whether you are interested in developing yourself, your team or the business.
All New People Managers
All new people managers at Amgen are assigned through the LMS a curricula of courses designed to support new managers, whether new to Amgen or to managing people. These courses are required for any new people manager, GCF levels 4-7, with a minimum of one Amgen paid direct report (regular or temp). Additional topics are available for elective career development on Amgen s Learning Hub.
Functional Trainings
Functional, country and role specific training are not included in the corporate curricula. Specific training would have to be assigned separately. Please contact your functional Learning and Performance partner for clarification
