DEVELOPING THE COLLEAGUES

A population of colleagues who often feel a bit forgotten about in teams are the core performers. You know them as the reliable steady Eddies who always deliver exactly what is asked.

A common mistake some people managers make is to assume these direct reports are okay and don t need you. They do and with some support they can become the core of your team. One of the challenges with this group is that they might not think they need any development.
