three types of employee Click on each employee type to find out how to work with or manage them.Engaged:
These employees are the ones we all like to interact with
they re passionate, enthusiastic, positive, loyal, responsive, hard-working, flexible, resilient. Engaged employees live
and breathe the company s values; it s plain to see and their enthusiasm is infectious. Not engaged:
These people turn up for work, do enough not to get fired, contribute
grudgingly and participate half-heartedly in teamwork. They are present, but not
particularly productive or involved. They tend to be resistant to change, resentful
of others and will probably be the first out the door at 5pm.
Actively disengaged: These employees are threats to your
company. Their engagement has sunk so low that they are now actively working against the interests of your company. They are ill-willed,
negative gossips who bad mouth the company and its leadership, do the least work they can get away with, push boundaries, and revel in
letting everybody know how disengaged they are.
