Engagement can be hard to spot in yourself and others because it has to do with emotional connection to your work, your organization, and your colleagues. It s easier to spot when you re not fully engaged: You find yourself having more run-ins with team members Work becomes a chore you have to get through You start to be left out of conversations about new projects or

ways of working You clock in late and/or leave dead on time every day, no matter what You start to feel negative toward the company and its employees, and let

people know You look for excuses for why you can t perform at your best You don t trust any of your colleagues to do a good job
