THE MARKETING MIX, ALSO KNOWN AS THE 4 P S OF MARKETING, IS ONE OF THE BEST KNOWN WAYS OF MAKING THOSE CHOICES. A SUCCESSFUL MARKETING MIX MUST HAVE FOUR ELEMENTS DEFINED TO REACH THE TARGET MARKET SUCCESSFULLY. The role of the marketer is to carefully examine customers needs and wants, then design a product or service that satisfies those needs, offer it at a fair price, make it available through various channels of distribution and create promotions or communications to establish interest.
