Aquadvanced® Urban Drainage: an innovative solution to optimize the performance of sanitation networks and conserve the natural environment

In July 2016, SUEZ launched Aquadvanced® Urban Drainage, a digital solution that enables local authorities to address the challenges resulting from rising urbanisation, global warming and changes in the regulations of wastewater and rainwater networks.

This innovation enables them to choose the solution that best meets their needs, from the monitoring of an environment (rivers, the sea, sanitation networks), to the anticipation of risks of flooding and pollution of the natural environment and the predictive and dynamic management of their complete network.

Aquadvanced® Urban Drainage provides a global, real-time vision of the complete network, based on data from sensors installed in the network and in the natural environment (rivers, watercourses, etc.) and weather forecasts.

By centralising and analysing this data, the software can anticipate the hydraulic performance of the network (saturated storage capacities, volumes to be treated, etc.) and of the natural ecosystem (risks of pollution or overflowing watercourses).
