AquadvancedTM: optimising the management of drinking water distribution networks

Worldwide, more than 35% of drinking water disappears before it even reaches the users taps. SUEZ addresses this problem with AquadvancedTM, a solution that enables city authorities to improve the performance and lifespan of their drinking water networks, while also improving the quality and the pressure of the water delivered to the user s tap.

AquadvancedTM monitors the hydraulic behaviour of the network in real time using sensors that identify and anticipate anomalies (leaks, water quality, drop in pressure, etc.).

AquadvancedTM also centralises other data (remote readings, management of operations and customer relations, etc.) that is used to produce maps of the network, management scenario simulations or suggestions to optimize consumption.

This solution has already been deployed in several towns in France and territories that are vulnerable to periods of drought, such as Barcelona and Casablanca.

Worldwide losses of drinking water have been estimated at more than

49 billion m3/year.
