In addition to the OTC,
CYCLEVIA set up several
special working groups
to address each aspect of
the transition. In regard
to information technology,
benchmarking was carried out with other
producer responsibility organisations
and an IT Manager was recruited for the
development of a suitable tool. In terms of
the of fering, a dedicated group met with
marketers to def ine a clear strategy and
to ensure that the invitation to tender was
understood and effectively distributed.
These issue-specific workshops enabled
the combined scheme to be adjusted to the
specif ic demands of the industry and to build
an operational of fer in line with the realities
of the business.
To assist the move to a combined EPR scheme by 2025 the CYCLEVIA
team has grown with the recruitment of two new employees Others
recruitments are planned during 2025 ensuring that its new operational
expertise is comprehensive To adjust to this change of scale CYCLEVIA
also changed premises without modifying its address which remains
4rue Jacques Daguerre in RueilMalmaison France These changes are
all necessary for structuring new developments and starting the second
half of the authority approval period under the best possible conditions
Working groups
The team is growing,
to f ine-tune
every detail
as are the of f ices
Looking ahead,
CYCLEVIA will
need to maintain
its ambition and its ability
to listen, drawing on
existing expertise without
erasing it. By this I mean,
it will need to integrate
the skills, practices,
and organisations already
in place in the industry
to build a harmonious
and effective transition,
rather than starting
from scratch or enforcing
a single model.”
