A tailor-made approach for each project

The benefits of collaboration The Société québécoise des infrastructures presented us with a challenge: build a deten- tion centre in Sorel-Tracy in record time. Fortunately, the SQI had decided to build in partnership mode. Architects and engineers, our specialized teams and our partners worked together from the outset to plan the project. The result: we delivered 23,600 m2 of floor space in only 32 months; by using prefab com- ponents, we were able to shave 12 months off the schedule and, as a result, reduce costs. The project also garnered LEED Silver certifi- cation and a design award. Our project delivery method made all the difference.

We ve developed our own methodology for working in partnership mode on projects of greater complexity, such as the one in Sorel- Tracy. We draw on everyone s talents and ideas. Instead of working in silos, we embrace the industry trend of taking an increasingly collaborative approach. From Design, Build, Finance to Operations and Maintenance, we assume responsibility for some or all of these phases.

Decisions are made jointly, which adds a strong measure of innovation and efficiency to what we do and means we can deliver exem- plary projects.
