Pierre-Luc, Abigail and dozens of other experts continue to work hand in hand with the best designers in the world to optimize our project design. Our project teams enhanced expertise and the ideas they generate are an asset for our clients.
B y confirming constructability before the work starts and proposing new avenues, we are able to minimize delivery times and costs.
Projects delivered in alternative mode design- build or integrated project delivery (IPD), for example lend themselves well to this colla- boration between our experts and consultants.
Collaborative project delivery is gaining momentum
Instead of working in silos, typical of traditio- nal contracts, we are increasingly working in alternative or collaborative mode. In addition to construction, our clients are also turning to us to design and finance their projects.
New market realities and scope, increasing project complexity, work overload, limited bud- gets, delivery times and staff shortages are prompting clients to adopt these innovative models.
We have developed our own method and expanded our team specialized in project deli- very in alternative mode to help deliver more complex projects based on partnerships. Today, some one hundred people are lending their expertise to prepare proposals and estimates, carry out design, negotiate commercial agree- ments and assess risks.
We are also well positioned to assume project risks, including financial risk, which fall to the client in traditional contracts.
Pooling everyone s talents and ideas injects a powerful dose of innovation, efficiency and effectiveness, and enables us to deliver exem- plary structures.
