2025 ANNUAL REPORT

New levers

for collection

In 2025 , CYCLEVIA continued its action to improve collection and better

respond to the realities of the f ield . The result ? A collection rate of 57 . 27 %

— a level which continues to exceed the regulatory objective of 53 % f ixed

for 2025 . In the face of the progression of PCB

pollution , the producer

responsibility organisation has taken measures to improve their treatment .

It has also improved the tracking of f lows through new dashboards and ,

in collaboration with three key brands in the car maintenance and retail

sectors , has trialled a collection solution aimed at private individuals .

  pollution :

a better identif ied increase

On the rise during recent years , PCB pollution

levels remained unchanged in 2025 . This sit -

uation can namely be explained by obsolete

transformers — some of which still contain oils

which have been prohibited for several decades

— reaching their end - of - life . With a lifespan of 50 to 60   years , this

equipment is now provoking pollution in companies which are not

always prepared to manage it . This consistent trend in reported

pollution incidents can also be explained by the introduction of a

f inancial support scheme by CYCLEVIA , as part of its accreditation ,

for cases where the source cannot be identif ied By providing

reassurance to waste collectors in such situations it encourages

a more comprehensive reporting of incidents observed in the

f ield Faced with operations that may involve six f igure sums the

involved companies now know that they can turn to the producer

responsibility organisation for assistance CYCLEVIA then funds

the intervention of a specialist organisation which is the only

body capable of handling this waste This f inancial support helps

to bring to light situations that were previously overlooked due

to a lack of solutions
