As part of this certif ication, we continue to focus on educating
and training our employees, as well as our workers, to
ensure compliance and improvement of our environmental
practices. In terms of training, 1,096 employees participated
in environmental training sessions, for a total of 922 hours,
along with 34,612 site workers, for a total of 5,192 hours.
Inspections are a mandatory requirement of our management
system. In 2022, 30% of our projects were inspected on a
quarterly basis and more than half were inspected weekly.
This new data illustrates the increase in environmental
monitoring of our sites compared with 2021 a better control
of our environmental impacts and stronger engagement of
our teams on site It also allows us to monitor our mitigation
measures and our compliance with our environmental
obligations
As part of the renovation of the LouisHippolyteLa Fontaine
tunnel in Montreal we collaborated with the Société des
établissements de plein air du Québec Sépaq to reforest
part of the Parc national des ÃŽlesdeBoucherville The area
chosen had been transformed into agricultural land in the past
and has long been overpopulated by deer This reforestation
project is part of the measures we are deploying to mitigate
the impact of our sites on the environment particularly
onbiodiversity
