Message from Senior Leadership

For a recovery that is more green, more fair, and more committed We are aware of how lucky we are: 2021 has once again been an exceptional year for Pomerleau, despite its challenges. While the pan- demic continues to have significant repercussions around the world, our confidence in the future has never been stronger.

We owe our confidence to the people around us: our employees, construction workers, partners, and clients. These partnerships have always been what has led to Pomerleau's success, and they are the reason we can emerge from the crisis of recent years on a solid foun- dation, prepared to approach Canada's economic recovery with a clear strategy.

The year 2021 has given us the opportunity to reassess our priorities and chart a course to achieve them. This is why today, with great pride, we are launching Perspective, our new platform for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

Along with the launch of the platform, we are introducing our first ESG Report, which allows us to highlight, measure, and communicate the actions we take for the wellbeing of the planet and of the communities our projects serve both of which are essential considerations to ensure our industry keeps moving in the right direction.

Since Pomerleau is a private company, we are taking this approach of our own volition. As a major player in the industry, we believe it is our responsibility to be proactive and transparent in responding to society s evolving needs, just as we have always done.

Our guidelines for ESG performance

It all starts with a vision in our case, the goal of making a posi- tive contribution to the growth of the construction industry, so that Pomerleau will not only be a leader in environmental protection, social action, and sound governance, but will also motivate other players to take part in this transformation with us.

This is a major challenge and our teams are ready to go above and beyond, because we know that the long-term effects of our actions will become the baseline for lasting business success. Our guidelines are supported by Pomerleau's founding values and to which we can now refer in order to make informed and sustainable choices.
