38,385 tons of residual materials → In 2021, Pomerleau directly managed 38,385 tons of residual ma-
terials (excluding soil) on all its project sites, 68% of which was diverted from landfill.
90% of residual materials → On average, 90% of residual materials was diverted from landfill on
our project sites that aimed for sustainable construction certifica- tion, which exceeds the minimum target of 75% required for LEED certification.
The accounting of residual materials was completed in early 2022, and we are using those results as well as our existing skills to monitor the flow of residual materials (for many of our LEED projects in particular).
