Formalizing an engagement policy
We now want to formalize our intention to contribute to reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, through the development of a formal enga- gement policy. The spirit of our approach is to promote the creation of wealth by, for, and with Indigenous peoples.
That s why we have mandated a FOX team specializing in the ma- nagement of projects carried out in collaboration with Indigenous communities, to guide our thinking and our actions. FOX's work has already led to a series of recommendations whose short-term actions have quickly received the approval of the Executive Committee, in particular:

By 2022, hire an Indigenous Relations Advisor to implement a strategy that allows for the full participation of Indigenous peoples in Pomerleau's operations.
