CLIMATE CHANGE
For the f irst time ever, we reduced our
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by
6,626 tons CO₂e compared with 2023.
We’re starting to introduce electric
vehicles on our worksites, with the goal
of electrifying 75% of our f leet by 2027.

Key
Takeaways
Our industry, among the main greenhouse gas (GHG) emitters, has
already embarked on the energy transition, and we’re proud to
be at the forefront of this movement across Canada. Through our
efforts, we’ve reduced emissions generated at our worksites for
the first time.
To speed up this transition, we’ve made a clear commitment by
taking on the federal government’s Net-Zero Challenge—to reach
net-zero emissions by 2050. Not just a promise, but a concrete plan
that’s guiding our actions. The f irst milestone will be to reduce our
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 40% by 2030, using 2021 as our
reference year.
Our plan targets emissions generated by our construction operations
as well as those of upstream and downstream worksite operations.
We’re focusing our efforts on the emission sources specif ic to our
operations which generate over 95% of our indirect emissions.
Innovation and collaboration are key to achieving decarbonization. Our
site teams have already whole-heartedly adopted new technologies
and ways to reduce our direct emissions.
But we have even greater ambitions. We’re also supporting our clients,
partners, peers and investors in decarbonizing their own operations
by sharing our knowledge and expertise.
