CLIMATE CHANGE
Digital traceability:
Our management optimization tool
How do you manage what can’t be accurately measured? To
meet this challenge, our Innovation team developed a digital
platform that centralizes the data on all the residual materials
from our worksites.
This tool tracks the volume of residual materials generated
at our worksites and their f inal destination. For our teams
on the ground, this is an incredible advancement—conside-
rable time saving and increased visibility into our residual
materials management.
Particularly valuable for projects aiming for sustainable certif i-
cation or those subjected to stringent traceability requirements,
this tool was employed on seven pilot projects in 2024. The
initial results are promising: time saving, quick access to data
for project management teams and a tool that’s easy to use.
A full analysis will allow us to use the tool at other worksites
in 2025, while prioritizing projects aiming for certif ication.
Our Flagship Achievements
Evaluation of sustainable practices:
Engaging our strategic suppliers
To build a sustainable future, we look at our entire ecosystem.
That’s why we’ve launched a comprehensive evaluation of our
strategic suppliers’ methods.
In 2024, 45% of targeted suppliers completed a questionnaire
that helped us better understand their current approaches
to environmental protection, social impact and sound gover-
nance. This process helped us identify potential synergies to
ensure better alignment with our own objectives. The survey
showed a lack of consistency in adopting sustainable principles
among the respondents, bringing to light many opportunities
for improvement and support.
The next step: In 2025, we’ll offer each respondent feedback
with our recommendations for improvement. Ultimately, our goal
is to accelerate the sharing of best practices to help transform
the industry, together.
Gypsum recycling:
80 tons diverted from landf ills
Charlotte Trudeau-Drolet, Environmental Advisor, talks to us about
recycling gypsum on the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital project.
