CLIMATE CHANGE
Our overall landfill diversion rate
remains stable at 72% for the third
consecutive year and reached 77%
for projects targeting sustainable
certification.
We launched a pilot project at the site
of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital
to give gypsum a second lease on life.
Our suppliers are also engaged: 45%
of our strategic suppliers answered our
survey on their sustainability practices.
Key
Takeaways
Building differently also means rethinking the life cycle of
materials. Our ambition? To reduce the environmental footprint
at our worksites while optimizing the use of resources based
on a circular approach.
Accounting for residual materials and their recovery rate is
among our standards at all worksites. Few contractors syste-
matically apply this practice to all their projects. And we want
to take it one step further. We’re now focusing our efforts on
supporting our teams in adopting traceability practices and
f inding new avenues for landf ill diversion in collaboration with
our partners and suppliers.
At the same time, we’re gradually integrating responsible
procurement methods and developing a better understan-
ding of the sustainable practices of our strategic suppliers—
selected according to their business volume, carbon intensity,
our framework agreements and the consistency of our rela-
tionships. A transformation that is taking place one step at a
time, but with determination.
