Our Flagship Achievements
LEED Platinum certif ication: Lending
expertise that makes a real difference
We took up the challenge to manage the entire LEED Plati-
num certif ication—the most demanding level—for the Haleco
project, a mixed-use complex that won the Reinventing Cities
international competition in Montreal. We managed the pro-
cess entirely using our in-house expertise.
We owe this success to the growing team of LEED-accredited
professionals and our overall vision of the project. Our invol-
vement, from design to delivery, allowed us to integrate many
environmental benef its: signif icant improvement in energy
eff iciency, use of low-carbon concrete, optimization of indoor
air quality for future occupants, innovative rainwater treatment,
reduction of heat islands, promotion of urban biodiversity and
decreased potable water consumption. This overall approach
made it easier to earn carbon credits while maximizing the
project’s positive impact on the environment and the occu-
pants of the building.
CLIMATE CHANGE
Green mobility: Electrifying
our worksite vehicles
Our objective: to electrify 75% of our f leet of worksite vehicles
by 2027. Our electrif ication plan took off in 2024 when we
ordered 41 electric vehicles—10% of our entire f leet. We’re
actively continuing to roll out our plan in Quebec and British
Columbia, while supporting our teams on the ground in this
energy transition.
Concretely, our support means installing charging stations at
our off ices and logistics centres. We also provided temporary
stations, custom-designed by our teams, at worksites where
these vehicles are already in operation.
To simplify the conversion to electric vehicles, we’re supporting
our pioneering teams and subsidizing the installation of stations
at their homes. The overwhelmingly positive feedback we’ve
been getting is helping us adjust our approach and continue
to improve our electrif ication strategy.
The Heat Better Challenge:
Optimizing the way we heat our worksites
Harshil Kaushal, Superintendent for the University of Toronto tower, and
Guillaume Grandmont, Project Manager – Special Projects, Innovation and
R&D, present the Heat Better Challenge.
