GOUVERNANCE
The strength of our Board of Directors is built on diversity in
terms of expertise, experience and gender representation.
Our Board members hail from a variety of f ields, including
f inance, infrastructure, construction and human resources,
and many have strong sustainable development knowledge.
This wealth of perspectives is reinforced by our commitment
to gender representation. We’ve surpassed our objective of at
least one-third of women among our independent members.
In fact, 43% of our independent members are women and
the two Board committees are chaired by women.
Our commitment to preventing modern slavery in our value
chain is growing stronger. Consult our comprehensive report
on this issue by clicking here. We’ve also reviewed our sup-
pliers’ code of conduct and strengthened our contractual
requirements with respect to labour laws.
To anchor this culture of integrity more f irmly, we promoted
our reporting line—an essential tool for anonymously reporting
code of conduct violations or any other concern. Through a
communication campaign at our worksites and a new com-
ponent in our Respect and Civility training, we were able to
let more people know about this mechanism.
Our cybersecurity also took a leap forward in 2024. We earned
ISO 27001:2022 certif ication, making us a pioneer in North
America’s construction industry. This important recognition
strengthened our capacity to protect our clients’ data in an
increasingly complex digital world.
In terms of climate, we conducted a scenario-based analysis of
various risks and opportunities. In compliance with Canadian
Sustainability Disclosure Standards, this process mobilized
more than 40 people at all levels of the company. The results
are helping to strengthen our resilience and better anticipate
the effects of climate change on our people, as well as our
supply chain, worksites and facilities.
The strength of our Board
is the variety of skills we
bring to the table. It lets
us look at challenges from
different angles. For a private
construction company like
Pomerleau, our combined
knowledge is a real asset,
one that steers them in the
right direction.

member since 2024
