Integrative project
with La Factry
→ Innovation → Culture of innovation
Since 2020, we’ve been collaborating with La Factry, the school of creative
sciences, in Montreal. This partnership takes several forms, including
co-creation workshops as well as creativity and change management training
for our teams and partners. Our AXLAB research and development team set up
its operations at La Factry in 2021, which gives us the opportunity to exchange
and share our knowledge with students.
In 2022, we took this collaboration to another level through the Pause youth
program. Over a 12-week period, this program works with the next creative
generation to f ind new solutions to today’s problems. For example, we
challenged the 17 participants to f ind concrete recovery options for a project’s
residual materials. The ideas that were generated illustrate that by collaborating
and integrating diverse perspectives in our ways of doing things, we can f ind
innovative solutions to the challenges of the circular economy.
These young people come from diverse academic and professional
backgrounds and are pursuing an educational path based on creativity. We
plan to repeat this experience with new challenges that continue to be rooted
in the realities of our projects and are inspiring for students.
