Our plan is focussed on two guiding principles:
Guiding principle n° 1
Account for residual materials, to manage them better
Guiding principle n°2
Develop procurement strategies that promote circularity
Optimizing the use of resources based on a circular approach at each stage
of the life cycle of materials is now imperative to reducing the environmental
footprint of our sites. For an industry like ours, supporting circular aspirations
requires a high degree of adaptability, innovation and collaboration with the goal
of reducing the environmental impact of materials—during their production and
use as well as when recovering their residual waste.
To contribute to SDG 12, which aims to “ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns,”
we’re working to minimize our footprint, both in terms of the purchases we make, and the residual
materials our projects generate.
→ Green value chain → Circular economy
Our plan for the circularity of goods and materials prioritizes reducing the consumption
of resources, protecting the ecosystems that generate them, and reusing, recycling, and
recovering already existing materials. It embodies our environmental principles that guide us
throughout our value chain.
Maximize the lifespan of goods and materials
