Miss Dior

In fall 2025 , at the Fosun Foundation in Shanghai ,

Dior   unveiled the Miss Dior : Stories of a Miss exhibition

– an homage to the Maison ’ s very first fragrance ,

launched in 1947 and named after muse and emblem

of resilience Catherine Dior . Following the success of

L ’ Or de Dior in Beijing , Dior reaffirmed its enduring ties

with China , inviting visitors to share a multi - sensory

experience that bridged art , couture and the power

of olfactory memory .

Designed by OMA New York , the exhibition retraced

78 years of history , showcasing Miss Dior ’ s creative

development and influence . It incorporated elements

of local culture and featured works by contemporary

Chinese artists to create a new curated experience

exploring the stories behind the fragrance .

Outside the entrance , visitors were welcomed by a

monumental sculpture referencing the 1952 Bobby

bottle inspired by Christian Dior s cherished canine

companion Inside the exhibition revealed a new sen

sory surprise in each successive space The visit began

by tracing the history of perfume through the Dior

archives with photographs and heritage objects and

materials followed by a poetic immersion in an indoor

garden created by artist Eva Jospin
