Maison Hennessy has reimagined its iconic Hennessy X . O

decanter through a collaboration with pioneering French

generative artist Florian Zumbrunn , whose work blends

digital technology and traditional fine - art techniques .

This new limited edition of 40 numbered decanters is

the result of generative art , innovation and expertise .

Each decanter features a bespoke design generated

through a series of algorithms programmed by the artist

combined with the customer ’ s chosen personalization .

These algorithms – defined exclusively at the Hennessy

boutique in Cognac , France , including the number of

colors and the palette selection – generate unique

compositions from millions of possible variations .

Customers can preview their design on a tablet before

watching it come to life on their decanter ’ s “ second

skin painted by a robotic arm using an innovative process

engineered by robotics expert Jean Marie Ollivier The

eco designed 100 recyclable shell is crafted entirely

from paper pulp and finished with a distinctive leather

label wrapped around the decanter s neck

Through this process each decanter becomes a singular

piece inspired by Hennessy s artisanal know how and

crafted using both analogue and digital techniques
