in the key notes of the fragrance alongside a sculptural
floral robe . The colorful “ Miss Dior : The Birth of Ready -
to - Wear ” room then revived the modern style of Dior ’ s
first ready - to - wear collection . The visit culminated with
a compelling dialogue between haute couture and
contemporary art , with exceptional dresses worn by
Natalie Portman in Miss Dior campaigns shown along -
side works by internationally renowned women artists
These included original works by six major Chinese
artists Ai Jing Chen Ke Liu Shiyuan Zhou Li Liang
Yuanwei and Daishi Luo some of which were shown
for the very first time Catherine Dior an eternal
muse for the Maison and figure of the French
Resistance was an omnipresent inspiration through
out the exhibition
