Why a Centre of Expertise ?

This document not only documents what we have done in the project ; it also

tries to encourage a collaborative approach in building waterborne transport

flows . It tells the stories of InnoWaTr ´ s FFCs , highlights the innovations we

applied and offers insights into the expertise we developed .

We want to share our experiences and help to build new freight flow

coalitions in the North Sea Region , resulting in cleaner transport and reduced

city road congestion

This document describes our FFC and essential building blocks of our

InnoWaTr Approach and offers supporting actions and trainings to copy and

paste our approach for new FFC It is embedded into a Centre of Expertise

that let s go get in touch directly with our experts

How to use the Centre of Expertise ?

We tell our fascinating story of what we have done . Feel free to copy and adapt our

approach as required and build your own FFC . There are five building blocks covering

stakeholder & coalitions , action strategies to implement FFCs , technologies used in our

FFCs , communiction and business models . These topics reflect the life - cycle of an FFC .

Supporting actions focus on selected topics and facilitate the understanding of a

building block . Trainings have been designed to offer different perspectives on each

building block .

This flipbook is accommpanied by videos , audios and pdf ´ s for download . It offers

checklists , templates and access to online tools that help you build and implement

your own FFC .
